Sonal Chauhan, the dusky beauty who was last seen in Jannat opposite Emraan Hashmi, is back with a ‘brand’ in a new advertisement for Dish TV with none other than the Baadshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan.
“Yes actually, we have finished with the shoot for the ad about 25 days ago and currently it is being aired on TV networks,” says the beautiful actress.

Talking about working with SRK, she says, “It was such a pleasure to shoot with SRK. Firstly, I am a big admirer of his, so when I was approached for the ad by the ad director, I was more than willing. There was no way I was going to say no.”

It has been over two years that Sonal Chauhan debut in Jannat. The film became one of the biggest hits of that year but the actress never seemed to have capitalized on that. She is yet to be seen by the Hindi audience again though she did a couple of South Indian films.

However Sonal says she is confident that she has not lost out on anything and when she returns with her next film the audience will know it was worth wait. “I don’t think people will be disappointed when they see me again,” she says. Sonal will be next seen in MF Hussain’s son’s Owais Hussain’s movie.

‘Jannat’ actress Sonal Chauhan is on cloud nine these days following her recent shoot for an ad with Shah Rukh Khan. Sonal wanted to look her best for the shoot with SRK. So, Sonal couldn’t just let anyone take care of her face and hair. In fact, she always insists on having her makeup done only by stylist Ojhas, who has works with Bollywood beauties likes of Aishwarya Rai and Sonam Kapoor. But Ojhas was not in the country and Sonal tried the hair and makeup artist, who the production house suggested. Sonal also tried the other stylist, but she wasn’t happy. ‘Jannat’ star Sonal Chauhan sashayed down the ramp in a white Egyptian style dress for designer Charu Parasher at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week, here today.

The actress, who has won several beauty contests in the past, was initially nervous on the ramp but seemed relaxed after the show.

“My biggest fear while walking the ramp is of tripping over and falling. I have done modelling before but I was still nervous while walking. I am relaxed now,” Sonal told reporters after the show.
