Actor Sonal Chauhan cannot stop thanking her stars!

The Jannat girl has bagged her dream role with legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini in Buddah Hoga Tera Baap.

A source revealed that actor Kangana Ranaut was initially being considered for this role. However, when director Puri Jagannath met Chauhan, he was convinced that he had found his lead.

Word has it that fans are eagerly awating to see the hit jodi back on screen after a long gap.

After bagging Buddah Hoga Tera Baap, Jannat girl Sonal Chauhan is grinning from ear to ear. The reason is obvious; she has been cast opposite the legendary Amitabh Bachchan.

But what is not known is that Kangna Ranaut was being considered for the same role before Sonal pipped her to the post.

Prominent Telugu film producer and director Puri Jagannath, will start his film Budda (old man) sometime next week.

The director, who has made about 20 films in a career spanning a decade, including the Telugu version of Pokkiri, had earlier directed a Hindi film Shart with Tusshar Kapoor in the lead. But now he is all set to direct Amitabh Bachchan in this action-packed drama.
