Sonal Chauhan joins John Abraham and Akshay Kumar in airborne thriller ‘Aerial’

Director Anthony D’Souza, whose recent release Blue has been panned by the critics, is not only making a Blue sequel but also an airborne thriller on the lines of Blue, tentatively called Aerial.
Sonal Chauhan is the third star, after John Abraham and Akshay Kumar, to be confirmed for the film, which will feature three males and one female in lead roles, like in Blue.
Sonal Chauhan is a good pal of Anthony D’Souza. The two were recently spotted together at a Diwali party at Sunny and Anu Dewan’s residence where all three male leads of Blue were present.
It was earlier reported that Akshay Kumar was on board as he and D’Souza had together conceived the idea of the this action thriller. “Akshay was on board for this project right from the start. After Blue, I couldn’t dream of making a film without him,” said D’Souza.
John and D’Souza have also known each other for a long time and this is the first time the two have come together for a project. D’Souza had earlier said, “with his (John) physique and body language, it’s strange for him to have not done a full-on action film in all these years.”
Aerial will be shot in the Las Vegas desert. Blue producers, Shree Ashtavinayak, will produce the film. AR Rahman, who has scored music for Blue, has consented to team up with Anthony again.
