Sonal Chauhan walks the ramp in ‘Egyptian style’

‘Jannat’ star Sonal Chauhan sashayed down the ramp in a white Egyptian style dress for designer Charu Parasher at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week, here today.
The actress, who has won several beauty contests in the past, was initially nervous on the ramp but seemed relaxed after the show.
“My biggest fear while walking the ramp is of tripping over and falling. I have done modelling before but I was still nervous while walking. I am relaxed now,” Sonal told reporters after the show.

Former Miss World Tourism, Sonal Chauhan admits that she rarely cooks. Recently, however, she was let down when she had friends around for dinner and the restaurant she’d booked to deliver the food failed to show up. Suddenly faced with a situation, she beelined for the kitchen and threw together some pasta and a risotto, which her guests apparently loved. To her surprise, she then discovered that she loved doing it. “After that day I realized the importance of knowing how to cook so I am planning to take up some cooking lessons from none other than my mom,” she says, “She makes some fabulous dishes.”

This year the pageant marks its tenth year of completion and is therefore, going on in a reality series format. The show is currently on air and is in the stage of elimination rounds, which are being hosted by Maureen Wadia.
