The Mrs. India contest by Gladrags is the only pageant that truly celebrates womanhood by encouraging married women to participate in mainstream fashion. This year the pageant marks its tenth year of completion and is therefore, going on in a reality series format. The show is currently on air and is in the stage of elimination rounds, which are being hosted by Maureen Wadia.

Sonal Chauhan who doesn’t wish to sign films unless they have something meaningful to offer her, was last seen in earnest conversation with Houseful director Sajid Khan.
Sajid apparently admitted that he is screen testing for roles for his next flick post Houseful. And it seems like the lissome Sonal did meet with the requirements.

Bollywood actress Sonal Chauhan, who made her debut through Jannat, hopes that Shivaraj Kumar starrer Kannada movie Cheluveye Ninne Nodalu would get her a big break in South Indian Movies. The actress has recently completed the shooting if the Kannada film, which is directed by actor Raghu Ram.
Sonal Chauhan has earlier acted in a Telugu film Rainbow, but it was not inspiring for her. She was desperately looking for a break in South when she got the offer to star alongside Shivanna in director Raghu Ram’s movie. “Cheluveye Ninne Nodalu has given me a platform for South Indian Movies,” Nowrunning.com quotes Sonal saying.

Actress Sonal Chouhan, who is working on Cheluveye Ninne Nodalu, is happy that while her Telugu debut wasn’t that great, her Kannada film did well with audiences. She was praised by Shivaraj Kumar for her performance and he even wanted to act with her. She was overwhelmed when he said that because she wants to prove her acting abilities and not do just glamorous roles.

Director Anthony D’Souza, whose recent release Blue has been panned by the critics, is not only making a Blue sequel but also an airborne thriller on the lines of Blue, tentatively called Aerial.
Sonal Chauhan is the third star, after John Abraham and Akshay Kumar, to be confirmed for the film, which will feature three males and one female in lead roles, like in Blue.
Sonal Chauhan is a good pal of Anthony D’Souza. The two were recently spotted together at a Diwali party at Sunny and Anu Dewan’s residence where all three male leads of Blue were present.

Actress Sonal Chauhan was in Delhi recently for a show and a friend’s wedding.
“This one was definitely not a quiet visit. I had some work to wrap up and then attend a friend’s wedding,” she said. Delhi is not new to Sonal. She did her schooling from DPS and then graduated from Gargi College. “I loved school which is why I am still in touch with all my school friends. Whenever I come to Delhi, I make sure I go and stand outside my school, even if I’m not able to go inside, so that I can recollect old memories,” she shared. The actress makes sure that she goes to her favourite haunts every time she comes home. “I make sure I go to Janpath and check out what’s new. I have loads of aloo-chat at the thelaas and meet up with all my friends,” she said.

The makers of Aap Ke Liye Hum have gone to town saying that actress Urvashi Sharma, who recently got noticed for her performance in Ashuu
Trikha’s Baabarr, has been reportedly troubling them and hence, they have decided to replace her with another Delhite, Sonal Chauhan, or hottie Priyanka Kothari.
Urvashi, who was returning from Ahmedabad when she read the news of her troublesome behaviour, called to say, “Aren’t there always two sides to a story? How come no one is interested in my version?” According to her, she gave the required number of dates for Aap Ke Liye Hum, but schedules went haywire because the director had a knee surgery and she was pressed to give more dates. “

My last memorable meal was in Italy where I had gone for a shoot. I went to a beautiful restaurant with my sister but I don’t remember its name. It was an open-air restaurant with a laidback lounge. The restaurant was done up in white with brown furniture and was situated on top of a cliff. The view was breathtaking. We could see a large part of Rome from the top and hear the sound of church bells tolling in the distance.
